There has been lots of talk about the rebate checks scheduled to be issued late spring. Here are some tips to getting your rebate faster:
* File your 2007 tax return ON TIME! Even if you are normally not required to file a tax return (only those who file a 2007 tax return will get a rebate check) *
Select to have your refund direct deposited. They will deposit your rebate check into the same account. (If you opt to do rapid refund or other bank products where your fees are deducted from your refund, your check will be mailed.)
Don't fall for the phone and email scams. All you have to do to get your rebate check is file a 2007 tax return! Get The Facts
